6/11/18 Outdoor Explorers Camp (Ages 5 to 7): Session 1 9:00 PM Wildwood Preserve Registration Closed
  Hey kids! Come outside and play in a week long adventure. Explore the many habitats of Metroparks from sandy dunes to shady forests. Chase insects through the meadows, splash in a river full of life and search woodland trails for wildlife. New this year is a chance to try out life as a child 100 years ago. Hands on experiments, games, crafts and activities included. Challenge yourself to try canoeing, archery and exploration during fieldtrips. Fee includes a t-shirt, field trip transportation and a snack each day. A packed lunch and reusable water bottle are required.

  Take a brisk walk on park trails to increase your heart rate and get the blood flowing. This is a 50 min walk and covers over 2 miles at a quick walking pace. There will be no walk on federal holidays.

  Bring a lawn chair and your lunch to Wildwood Preserve. Relax for an hour on the Manor House grounds as local musical artists provide the entertainment for a fun summer memory in the parks. Sponsored by the Manor House Volunteers.

  Enjoy a free guided tour of this over 30,000 square foot, Depression-era home and learn about the region's rich history or walk through the first floor in your own time. After touring the Manor House, save time to walk through the Ellen Biddle Shipman Gardens or walk the trails through the spectacular grounds of Wildwood Preserve.  
6/15/18 Gallery Exhibition: Toledo Aerial Media (Aerials of Nature) 12:00 PM Secor No Registration Required
  Exhibits from the nationís premier nature photographers hang alongside images by local talent in this gallery. The National Center for Nature Photography at Secor Metropark is the only center of its kind in the country. Gallery open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  
6/15/18 CANCELLED: Metropark Members Explorer Excursion: All Ages   Side Cut Registration Closed
  Bring the family along to experience Metroparks in a different light on this evening excursion along the banks of the Maumee River. Relax and enjoy the scenery while riding in a 12 person tram along the towpath and the river front trails. A naturalist will help you look for birds, deer, raccoons and frogs while traveling from the canal era to modern times. Maximum 2 wheel chairs per trip. All other participants must be able to climb 3 steps. Call Felica Clark to register at 419-407-9712.
