  Join us every Wednesday beginning April 5 through June 28 to get moving, socialize and learn from a Metroparks naturalist on this slow stroll along Wildwood's paved or gravel trails. Designed especially for 55 and older, but any age is welcome to join the fun.

  Are you curious about all the fuss over the Biggest Week in American Birding? Never birded before and don't know what to expect? Take a naturalist led hike to learn the basics of birding and spring migration. Then stop at the Window on Wildlife to see some of the common birds of
Oak Openings. Binoculars and bird guides will be provided.

  Ladies! Gather your friends for a fun morning of dancing that you will never forget. Learn many on and off body hula hoop moves and how to tie them together to create your own Hoop Dance routine. You will also get a killer cardio workout while toning your core. No experience needed. Professional, adult hula hoops provided. Wear comfortable clothing and bring water.  
5/8/17 RocketWalk: FitTracks 10:00 AM Wildwood Preserve No Registration Required
  Join The University of Toledo, Center for Successful Aging every Monday and Friday for a fitness walking program in the Metroparks. Open to all adults. Classes are free to the public. Fitness classes will accommodate beginner, intermediate and advanced fitness levels. Free t-shirt for all participants. The University of Toledo, Center for Successful Aging is in charge of this program. For more information on this program please call 419-530-5208.  
5/8/17 Good Health Walk: a brisk walk on park trails 11:00 AM Wildwood Preserve No Registration Required
  Take a brisk walk on park trails to increase your heart rate and get the blood flowing. This is a 50 min walk and covers over 2 miles at a quick walking pace. There will be no walk on federal holidays.  
5/8/17 Volunteer Training: Fallen Timbers Battlefield Park Highlights 1:00 PM Fallen Timbers Battlefield Registration Closed
  Park specific natural and cultural history, interpretation, and volunteerism are the focus of this outdoor training that features a different Metropark each month. Open to all interested adults and recommended for Metropark volunteers.(VMT)  
5/8/17 Volunteer Training: Wildwood Park Highlights 6:30 PM Wildwood Preserve Waiting List
  Park specific natural and cultural history, interpretation and seasonal plant and animal cycles are the focus of this outdoor field study. Open to all interested adults and recommended for Metroparks Walk Leaders, Roving Interpreters, Wildlife Monitors, Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalists and Volunteer Trail Patrol(VMT).
