5/3/16 Introduction to Group Cycling: Presented by Toledo Area Bicyclists 6:30 PM Secor Registration Closed
Gear up for another season of cycling with Toledo Area Bicyclists (TAB) and Metroparks Toledo in this group cycling clinic. Why group cycling? Group cycling can be a fun, safe, efficient and social way to enjoy cycling. Let TAB introduce you to the basics of group riding in this four week clinic. This clinic is not for beginning riders, but riders that have some miles under their belt and are ready to give group cycling a try. In addition, we would also encourage intermediate riders looking to brush up on their group riding skills to join this workshop.

How does it work?
The clinic will meet Tuesday evenings promptly at 6:30 in the National Center for Nature Photography parking lot at Secor Metropark. Each session will start with a 10 -15 minute discussion covering various topics you will need to understand to safely join a group ride. We will then hit the road for a 16 20 mile ride where we can practice what we discussed. The ride is a small chain ring, no drop ride, with an average speed between 14 16 miles per hour. After the ride we will have a question and answer or group discussion to clarify the theme for the session.

This is a 4 week session that meets May 3, 10, 17, and 24. Please register for the first session on May 3.
