4/5/17 Stay Active Naturally: Walking Group for 55+ 2:00 PM Wildwood Preserve Waiting List
  Join us every Wednesday beginning April 5 through June 28 to get moving, socialize and learn from a Metroparks naturalist on this slow stroll along Wildwood's paved or gravel trails. Designed especially for 55 and older, but any age is welcome to join the fun.  
5/8/17 RocketWalk: FitTracks 10:00 AM Wildwood Preserve No Registration Required
  Join The University of Toledo, Center for Successful Aging every Monday and Friday for a fitness walking program in the Metroparks. Open to all adults. Classes are free to the public. Fitness classes will accommodate beginner, intermediate and advanced fitness levels. Free t-shirt for all participants. The University of Toledo, Center for Successful Aging is in charge of this program. For more information on this program please call 419-530-5208.

  What winged jewels decorate Wildwood Metropark this season? Register for one or all of these weekly walks to look at migratory songbirds followed by a cup of bird friendly brew in the Window on Wildlife.  
5/18/17 Blue Week: Discover the Birds 8:00 AM Oak Openings Preserve Registration Closed
  Come discover what "blue" birds live and visit the Oak Openings Region during Blue Week 2017! Take a hike with a park naturalist and search for blue birds such as: bluebirds, blue jays, indigo buntings and anything else blue we can find! Limited binoculars are available to borrow, feel free to bring your own. Bring water, wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.  
5/18/17 Historical Tours of the Manor House 12:00 PM Wildwood Preserve No Registration Required
  Enjoy a free guided tour of this over 30,000 square foot, Depression-era home and learn about the region's rich history or walk through the first floor in your own time. After touring the Manor House, save time to walk through the Ellen Biddle Shipman Gardens or walk the trails through the spectacular grounds of Wildwood Preserve.  
5/18/17 Friends of Side Cut: Owls Up Close 7:00 PM Side Cut No Registration Required
  Join Friends of Side Cut for a special visit from Nature’s Nursery and a few native owls! Explore owl adaptations, natural history, and which species are in your Metroparks.
