4/5/17 Stay Active Naturally: Walking Group for 55+ 2:00 PM Wildwood Preserve Waiting List
  Join us every Wednesday beginning April 5 through June 28 to get moving, socialize and learn from a Metroparks naturalist on this slow stroll along Wildwood's paved or gravel trails. Designed especially for 55 and older, but any age is welcome to join the fun.  
4/9/17 Reforestation Work Day: Root Trimming & Tree Prep 9:00 AM Fallen Timbers Battlefield Registration Closed
  Join us in our reforestation efforts at Fallen Timbers Battlefield. We need help trimming roots and prepping thousands of bare root trees for planting. Volunteers must be 18+. Be sure to dress for the weather. Please wear only closed toed shoes to protect your feet!

  Exhibits from the nationís premier nature photographers hang alongside images by local talent in this gallery. The National Center for Nature Photography at Secor Metropark is the only center of its kind in the country. Gallery open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  
4/9/17 Historical Tours of the Manor House 12:00 PM Wildwood Preserve No Registration Required
  Enjoy a free guided tour of this over 30,000 square foot, Depression-era home and learn about the region's rich history or walk through the first floor in your own time. After touring the Manor House, save time to walk through the Ellen Biddle Shipman Gardens or walk the trails through the spectacular grounds of Wildwood Preserve.  
4/9/17 Cancelled: Ottawa River Eco-tour: Epic Canoe Adventure (Ages 12+) 1:30 PM Wildwood Preserve Registration Closed
  Prepare for adventure as we maneuver twists, turns, portages and serious log jams while viewing the incredible scenery and wildlife of the Ottawa River with a Metroparks Naturalist. Boats and padding gear provided. Dress to get wet. Participants must be 12 years or older and all minors must be accompanied by an adult. Register all participants. This is an intermediate difficulty paddle. Skill level required: Beginner: Endurance required: Intermediate.  
4/9/17 Naturalists Camera Club of Toledo 2:00 PM Secor No Registration Required
  Metroparks partners with the Naturalists Camera Club of Toledo to present photography programs which include a guest speakers, photo instruction, club information and light refreshments.
