  This outdoor, multi-sensory nature play and exploration introduces your toddlers to the natural world and promotes its preservation. Parents accompany and assist in their child's experience. Register toddlers only.

  Take a brisk walk on park trails to increase your heart rate and get the blood flowing. This is a 50 min walk and covers over 2 miles at a quick walking pace.

4/5/17 Stay Active Naturally: Walking Group for 55+ 2:00 PM Wildwood Preserve Waiting List
  Join us every Wednesday beginning April 5 through June 28 to get moving, socialize and learn from a Metroparks naturalist on this slow stroll along Wildwood's paved or gravel trails. Designed especially for 55 and older, but any age is welcome to join the fun.  
4/5/17 Singletrack Bike Trail Work Day 4:00 PM Oak Openings Preserve Registration Closed
  A singletrack bike trail is on its way to being completed! This trail is being built at Oak Openings Preserve with the help of volunteers. An estimated 1,000 hours of volunteer time will be needed to construct this trail. Wear long pants, bug spray and sunblock. Bring your gloves, a water bottle and an attitude to get it done. Ages 14+

  The Friends of Pearson always welcome fellow fans of the park to help plan events and volunteer activities. These meetings are the best way to learn how to support the popular Oregon Metropark.  
4/5/17 Fitness Night Hike: 3-5 miles, (Ages 13+) 8:00 PM Secor Waiting List
  Enjoy an invigorating 3-5 mile hike as you experience sights and sound of the park after dark. Sturdy hiking shoes and water recommended. Bug spray optional. Only red-tinted headlamps or flashlights permitted during the hike.
