  Get moving, socialize and learn from a Metroparks naturalist on this slow stroll along Wildwood's paved or gravel trails. Designed especially for 55 and older, but any age is welcome to join the fun.  
4/23/17 Mercy Health Glass City Marathon 7:00 AM Off-Site Registration Closed
  The Mercy Health Glass City Marathon continues to grow as a signature event for the region as well as acting as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. The course consistently ranks among the top 24 fastest courses in the United States in qualifying runners to Boston and has been awarded the designation as an official RoadRunners Club of America Regional Championship event for 2017. The goal of RRCA Championship series is to shine a spotlight on well-run events and to award top performing runners in these neighborhoods, beautiful Metroparks trails and the University of Toledo, ranked and noted for its beautifully landscaped campus and architecture. The course was designed to showcase the area's most popular points of interest. There is a Marathon, Owens Corning Half Marathon, YARK Subaru 5-Person Marathon Relay, Medical Mutual 5K and the Findley Davies Kid's Marathon. Proceeds will support 13 local charities.

  Help us get the Mill cleaned up for spring! Please note: Many parts of the Mill are NOT heated. Please dress in layers and wear close toed shoes. Working volunteers will be doing whatever there is a need for at the Mill or the area around the Mill.

  Exhibits from the nationís premier nature photographers hang alongside images by local talent in this gallery. The National Center for Nature Photography at Secor Metropark is the only center of its kind in the country. Gallery open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  Enjoy a free guided tour of this over 30,000 square foot, Depression-era home and learn about the region's rich history or walk through the first floor in your own time. After touring the Manor House, save time to walk through the Ellen Biddle Shipman Gardens or walk the trails through the spectacular grounds of Wildwood Preserve.

  Join us in our reforestation efforts at Fallen Timbers Battlefield. We need help installing shelters, stakes, and mulch around thousands of newly planted trees. Be sure to dress for the weather. Please wear only closed toed shoes to protect your feet!

4/23/17 Metroparks Mutts: April Showers Bring May Flowers (All Ages) 2:00 PM Pearson Registration Closed
  April: Rain or Shine, April is a great time to be outside. Puddles, pools and lakes will be on our route as our furry friends pick up scents in the Great Black Swamp! Dogs must be on a standard 6 foot leash and be up to date on shots.
