4/5/17 Stay Active Naturally: Walking Group for 55+ 2:00 PM Wildwood Preserve Waiting List
  Join us every Wednesday beginning April 5 through June 28 to get moving, socialize and learn from a Metroparks naturalist on this slow stroll along Wildwood's paved or gravel trails. Designed especially for 55 and older, but any age is welcome to join the fun.  
4/19/17 Story Time in the Manor House: Birds! (Ages 3-5) 10:30 AM Wildwood Preserve Waiting List
  Flying overhead or digging in the ground, take flight with us as we explore the world of birds! We'll meet in the Manor House Library for some bird stories and crafts before taking a short hike out into the looking for our feathered friends. Register participating children only.  
4/19/17 Good Health Walk: a brisk walk on park trails 11:00 AM Wildwood Preserve No Registration Required
  Take a brisk walk on park trails to increase your heart rate and get the blood flowing. This is a 50 min walk and covers over 2 miles at a quick walking pace. There will be no walk on federal holidays.  
4/19/17 Historical Tours of the Manor House 12:00 PM Wildwood Preserve No Registration Required
  Enjoy a free guided tour of this over 30,000 square foot, Depression-era home and learn about the region's rich history or walk through the first floor in your own time. After touring the Manor House, save time to walk through the Ellen Biddle Shipman Gardens or walk the trails through the spectacular grounds of Wildwood Preserve.  
4/19/17 Stay Active Naturally: Walking Group (Ages 55 and Up) 2:00 PM Wildwood Preserve Registration Closed
  It's important to stay active at all ages and equally important to spend time in nature. Come move, learn and socialize as we take a gently paced nature walk around Wildwood. Dress accordingly for the weather and any age is welcome in this walking group.  
4/19/17 Reforestation Work Day: Work Site Prep 4:00 PM Fallen Timbers Battlefield Registration Closed
  Join us in our reforestation efforts at Fallen Timbers Battlefield. We need help hauling materials to the worksite. Volunteers must be able to lift 50lbs. Be sure to dress for the weather. Please wear only closed toed shoes to protect your feet!

4/19/17 Singletrack Bike Trail Work Day 4:00 PM Oak Openings Preserve Registration Closed
  A singletrack bike trail is on its way to being completed! This trail is being built at Oak Openings Preserve with the help of volunteers. An estimated 1,000 hours of volunteer time will be needed to construct this trail. Wear long pants, bug spray and sunblock. Bring your gloves, a water bottle and an attitude to get it done. Ages 14+

4/19/17 CANCELLED:Try it! Bouldering: (Ages 9 -17) 6:30 PM Blue Creek Conservation Area Registration Closed
  Youth ages 9-17 years boulder through time to get a grip on what 400 million year old fossils look like! Basic bouldering styles and safety will be introduced followed by an up close and personal lesson about the life forms that created the limestone wall you traverse. Wear comfortable clothes and hard soled shoes and dress for the weather.
