  Get moving, socialize and learn from a Metroparks naturalist on this slow stroll along Wildwood's paved or gravel trails. Designed especially for 55 and older, but any age is welcome to join the fun.

4/15/17 Singletrack Bike Trail Work Day 9:00 AM Oak Openings Preserve Registration Closed
  A singletrack bike trail is on its way to being completed! This trail is being built at Oak Openings Preserve with the help of volunteers. An estimated 1,000 hours of volunteer time will be needed to construct this trail. Wear long pants, bug spray and sunblock. Bring your gloves, a water bottle and an attitude to get it done. Ages 14+

  Exhibits from the nationís premier nature photographers hang alongside images by local talent in this gallery. The National Center for Nature Photography at Secor Metropark is the only center of its kind in the country. Gallery open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  You've never hunted eggs like this before! Hop into the spring spirit as you search through the park for hidden eggs with the help of a GPS unit. No geocaching experience necessary; GPS units will be provided. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Register all participants ages 5-17; adult chaperones do not need to register.
