Description: Commemorate National Endangered Species Day with an early morning quest to find Lark Sparrows, an Ohio endangered species that nests right here in the Oak Openings Region. This ground nesting sparrow has unique markings and nests among the sand ridges. Bring your binoculars as the dunes are closed to protect their nesting sites. A limited number of binoculars will be available to borrow.
