12/7/16 Holidays in the Manor House: Runs December 3 through December 11 10:00 AM Wildwood Preserve No Registration Required
  Ring in the holidays at one of northwest Ohioís most festive celebrations. For over 40 years, community volunteers have transformed over 30 areas of the Manor House into a holiday wonderland. Tour the Manor House and see why over 20,000 people make Holidays in the Manor House a family tradition. Be sure to visit The Andersons Welcome Tent and make a símore over a campfire. Also check out Holidays in the Hall at nearby Metroparks Hall, where there are new displays, programs and food options. There will Carriage Rides, which you can register for beginning November 1. Guests are also invited to bring donations of new hats, scarves and gloves to place on the Mitten Tree. Items collected will be donated to local children in need and is an annual project of the Volunteers in Parks.

With over 32,000 square feet of house to scour, this task is harder than it may seem. Spend an hour, or the afternoon, seeing the house through a new lens. Activities are available for all ages.  
1/18/17 Story Time In The Manor House: Houses! (Ages 3 to 5) 10:30 AM Wildwood Preserve Register
  Bring your young one out for story time and fun in the library of the Manor House. Each month, explore a new topic about something or someone that makes Wildwood Preserve home. After the story, you and your little one will get a chance to create a craft and explore the park to look for our story time friends. Register participating children only.

This month we are talking all about homes and houses and will explore the Manor House.

  A house's walls would be so plain except without the artwork we hang! Explore with art educator, Angela Metcalf, the masterpiece's with landscapes displayed on the Manor House's walls and then make a painting of your own to hang on your wall.
