Join us any time between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm, lend a hand with the cooking or just explore.  
8/6/17 Chaos Comes to Town: 1851 on the Canal 12:00 PM Providence No Registration Required
  View what life was like on the Miami and Erie Canal during its heyday. Families games and activities are sure to delight. Save some time to stop by the Isaac Ludwig Mill and Heritage Center. The Volunteer Canal boat will have a special 1851 themed runs at 12:30 pm, 2:00pm and 3:30pm. Fee applies to ride the canal boat; tickets cab be purchased at the ticket booth the day of while available.  
8/20/17 Chiefs and Generals-Warriors,Scouts and Soldiers: All Ages 2:00 PM Fallen Timbers Battlefield Register
  Meet and talk to the people who fought the Battle of Fallen Timbers on the actual spot where it happened. In honor of the 223rd anniversary of the Battle of Fallen Timbers the Preservation Commission and the Metroparks are presenting a living history event at the Fallen Timbers Battlefield. Historical interpreters in period accurate uniforms and dress will be stationed along the trail to describe what happened there. Meet the people who made history.

9/8/17 Preschool Pioneers: Churn, Butter Churn (3 to 5 year olds) 10:00 AM Pearson Register
  Bring your 3 to 5 year old to the little cabin in the big swamp to learn about Ohio's own John Chapman, better know as Johnny Appleseed. Children will hear a story, drink warm apple cider, and use apples to make a craft to take home. Please register child only.
